Our Feature Documentary at FirstCut+ / WEMW Trieste

We are delighted to share that our feature documentary film in progress, “New Life” (working title – status: post-production), has been selected for First Cut+ at When East Meets West 2026.

Producer Debora Nischler (Albolina Film) and director Bernadette Weber will be in Trieste (Italy) between 18 and 20 January to pitch the project and answer any questions the audience may have.

A film about a transgenerational story about dealing with perinatal loss, choice, breaking patterns and love, with Anna Martini.

Production funding for “Heroines of Hope”

With immense pleasure, we announce that our international documentary project “Heroines of Hope” (working title) has received production funding from the Austrian Film Institute (ÖFI), the Viennese film fund Filmfonds Wien, and the Austrian broadcast fund ORF “Film- und Fernsehabkommen”.

We are incredibly grateful to all the institutions for their trust and support. Fingers crossed that we can start production in early 2026!

A film co-directed with Uli Decker and produced by Tanja Georgieva-Waldhauer (Elemag Pictures) and Claudia Wohlgenannt (Plan C Filmproduktion).

Filmfestival Selections Fall 2025: “Torino Torino”

We are delighted to announce that, after its world premiere at International Hof Film Festival (a.k.a. Hofer Filmtage) our documentary TORINO TORINO has been selected for the following international film festivals this autumn.

📽️  International Mountain Film Festival Graz (Austria) // 12 November 2025, 17h15, Schubertkino / “Torino Torino” will be competing for the Grand Prix Graz.
📽️ Peloponnisos International Documentary Festival (Greece) // 24 November 19h30 in Kalamata, and 25 November 10h00 in Tripoli.
