Internazionale

It has been more than 300 days of non-stop protests in Georgia. No pause, not a single day of rest. Citizens continue to rally for democracy as nationwide municipal elections are to be held in October – tireless and resolute, with no end in sight.

This reportage, for Internazionale, tells the story of a group of journalists and activists in Tbilisi who have been fighting for freedom of speech and a free press, in light of censorship and punishment. By Bernadette Weber in collaboration with Ketevan Vashagashvili. Production: Visioni. Commissioning Editors: Giulia Testa and Jacopo Zanchini.
